Anne-Marie BERÇU was born on July 23, 1935, in Saint-Mandé, just outside Paris. She and her mother, Elia, fled to Nice, where they lived at 6 rue Lamartine. They were deported on convoy 66 of January 20, 1944. (Photo cr: Mj-Pp).           
  Jeannette MARKUS was born on May 8, 1930, in Paris. Arrested with her mother and her older sister, Berthe, both of whom were deported, Jeannette was transferred from Drancy to the UGIF Lamarck center, then the one in Montreuil. There she was arrested on July 22, 1944, and deported on convoy 77. (Photo cr: Mj-Pp).
