The BOUAZIZ family lived in Paris at 1 rue Felicien David (16th arr.). The father, Salomon, and the mother, Fortunée, were deported with their six children: Juliette, age 14; Yvette, 13; Jacqueline, 10; Simon, 8; Edmond, 6; and Denise, 3. Five of the six were born in Tlemcen, Algeria; only Denise was born in Paris. They were deported on convoy 57 of July 18, 1943. Some of the first names on the deportation lists are not the same as those given by a friend of the family.
