Fanny HERCMAN was born in Paris on August 3, 1926. Her parents, Abraham and Zelda, and her older sister, Chana, were deported on convoys 13 and 14. Fanny followed them on convoy 27 of September 2, 1942. The family lived at 23 rue Basfroi (11th arr.).

It is due to a classmate that the photograph of Léon GORFINKEL is included here, for his whole family was annihilated. He was born on March 15, 1927, in Paris. His brothers, Jean, age 7, and Bernard, 6, also born in Paris, were deported with him on convoy 27 of September 2, 1942. The family lived at 226 rue Saint-Martin (3rd arr.).
