Denise                                                                                   Madeleine

Madeleine and Denise BIMBAD were deported with their mother in 1944 to Bergen-Belsen on convoy 80, and all three returned. This was the case for most children in this exceptional category – the ones sent late to Bergen-Belsen, where the deportees were treated differently from those in Auschwitz. Both girls were born in Paris, where they lived at 19 rue Pouchet (17th arr.).

Evelyne and Henny DACHS returned from deportation with their mother. Evelyne was born in 1939 in Paris; Henny, in 1941 in Toulouse. They were deported on convoy 81 of July 30, 1944, which left from Toulouse.
