He was deported on August 19, 1942, on convoy 21. In the same convoy was his cousin Simon (Zycman) ZAJDENBERG, born on December 11, 1929, in Paris, where he lived at 3 rue Ste-Croix-de-laBretonnerie (4th arr.).     Gilbert CHERKASKY was born on July 15, 1931, in Paris. He lived in Avignon at 72 rue Joseph-Vernet.
