Liliane                                                              Monique    


Monique COFMAN was born on May 10, 1939, in Mont-Saint-Aignan near Rouen (Seine-Maritime). She was deported on convoy 42 of November 6, 1942, with her parents, Tzipra-Charles and Rachel, and her grandmother, Chaia Stoczyk, shown with her in this picture. The older of the two girls is Liliane Stoczyk, who escaped deportation. Their two cousins, Elie, age 15, and Ari-Victor Cofman, 9, also from Rouen, were also deported on convoy 42.
