After the deportation of their parents, who had fled to southwestern France from Lorraine, the GLIOT children were transferred to Paris, where the UGIF put them in the Lamarck center. The center was liquidated by the Gestapo on July 21, 1944. The four Gliot children were deported on convoy 77 of July 31, 1944: Alice, born on September 7, 1931; Louise, on May 28, 1933; Adolphe, on December 25, 1935; and Charles, on May 5, 1937. All were born in Metz (Moselle).
