Simon EDELSTEIN was born on May 9, 1926, in Esch-sur-Azette. He was deported on August 5, 1942, on convoy 15. He had been arrested with his brother Michel and their mother, Léa, during the Vel d'Hiv roundup at their home at 11 passage Moulin in Paris (12th arr.). We found no trace of Michel in the deportation lists and include him as well in convoy 15.
