Chil CUKIERMAN was deported on convoy 13. His wife, Chaja, was deported on convoy 24 of August 26, 1942, with her six children, all born in Paris (12th arr.). These pictures show the three boys – Léon, age 11; Victor, 10; and Joseph, 5 – and two of the three girls – Eva, 15, and Berthe, Victor's twin. There is no photograph of Paulette, 13. The family was arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup at their home, 7 rue des Jardins-Saint-Paul (4th arr.).
