Szyja BURZNY was born on May 2, 1928; her sister Fajga (Fanny) on May 15, 1929; and the youngest sibling, Cham, on May 17, 1930. All three were born in Sokolow, Poland. They lived at 7 impasse des Chevaliers in Paris (20th arr.). They were arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup and were separated for deportation. Their mother, Ruchla, left on convoy 14; Szyja on convoy 16 of August 7, 1942; and the two younger children on convoy 20 of August 17, 1942. Their oldest brother, Isaac, was also deported.
