Francine BEIRACH, cousin of the three Bajroch brothers, was four and a half years old; she was born in Paris. She was arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup with her parents, Avroum and Malka, who were deported on convoy 15 of August 5, 1942. However, there is no trace of Francine on the deportation lists where her name should have been. Perhaps she was one of those very young children, alone and in anguish and unable to state their identity when deported, for whom all means of identification were lost.
